I read through the whole of a friend's livejournal and decided that maybe I will try and keep one. All past attempts have failed miserably as I lack commitment and drive when things like this are concerned - but we shall see!

Anywho - about me? Well: I am constantly thinking about things that are bigger than myself such as 'why are we here?' and 'what IS the universe' and so on and so forth. Because of that I have a reputation as somewhat of a dreamer. I am an idealist in every sense of the word - equal rights for all living beings, world peace... I could go on but I'm sure you get the picture. I love hearing about other people's beliefs and am on a constant quest to learn more about the world.

In terms of hobbies I would say I am a writer. I write a lot of poetry and prose which I may or may not start posting on here for other people to read. I am starting to branch off into different genres now as well as I am hoping to get a job as a writer for an organisation such as The Vegan Society or PETA or something else that I believe in, as an earner alongside me pursuing my fictional works!

I love music. I let my musical talents go to waste by giving up when I was about 13 for various reasons. I've never really had the time to pick it up again but I'm currently saving up for a sax and sax lessons as I think it is the most beautiful instrument to play in the world. I love going to see live bands and am known to become somewhat obsessed with a band once I have caught 'the bug'. My favorite thing to do with music though is seeing my good friends perform. There's nothing better than seeing someone you love doing something that they love and sharing it with the world. Did I mention that I'm a bit over sentimental at times?

This turned out to be the longest 'mini-biography' I've ever written and I could go on so much more! But for your sake, I won't.
